Know your pharmacist so they know you. Corporate managed drug chains have many pharmacists, so if a pharmacist from store Y is needed at store Z, or even store X... they must go wherever they are needed. For the chain store pharmacist it is difficult, at best, to even know which store you are at on a given day, much less be expected to know your customers! At a local, family owned drug store like Ohliger Drug Stores, the pharmacist grew up in the business. Tom and Molly's father owned the store before they did and their grandfather owned it before their father.
